Sales tax holiday begins tonight

Arkansas’s annual sales tax holiday kicks off tonight at 12:01 AM and runs through 11:59 PM Sunday, August 7. Eligible items include:

• Electronics

• School supplies

• Art supplies

• Instructional materials

• Clothing

All Arkansas retailers are required to participate and may not charge tax on items that are legally tax-exempt during the holiday.
