Senate President Pro Tempore Bart Hester (R-Cave Springs) has made two committee appointments to fill available seats on the Senate Committee on Judiciary and the Senate Committee on Transportation, Technology, and Legislative Affairs.

Senator Hester appointed Senator Terry Rice (R-Waldron) to Senate Judiciary and Senator-elect Justin Boyd (R-Fort Smith) to the vice-chair position on Senate Transportation.
